Winter is coming

After a couple of winter months with less snow than normal, winter has finally arrived with a generous snowfall. Luckily the roads up to the cabins and our parking space are regularly shovelled by tractors, making it possible to “park by the front door” in spite of the weather.

Høgelibu is situated close to Voss ski- og tursenter. It is a ski centre with high quality cross country trails, including the “The Juwel”, a 12 km trail around Herresåsen. Simply walk two hundred meters from the cabin and you are in the trails. Nothing is like starting the day in the trails by sunrise before everyone else is out and about, or exploring them almost alone in the night with a head lamp.
