Entrance

You can use an app, Danalock, to access the door. We'll add your user to the lock prior to arrival. If you don't have a smart phone, we can make a code for you to use. In order to unlock the door, enter the code on the keypad followed by the open lock symbol.

To lock the door, simply press the closed lock symbol.

Alternatively, you’ll receive a code to the keybox. Use the key to unlock the door. Store the key in the keybox whenever you (temporarily) leave the cabin. Remember to scramble the code.

NB: There are video surveillance covering the entrance to both of the cabin. The cameras are of course deactivated during rental.

There is a video doorbell by the door. You can use this to contact us if you have problems entering the cabin.

Bedroom

The beds will be ready made for you upon arrival. You will also be provided by one big towel.

There is a thick curtain on the loft separating it from the rest of the room.

Bathroom

In the bathroom you’ll find:

• Hand soap

• Shampoo

• Shower gel

• A small hair dryer

Kitchen

Dishes

• Due to hygiene, please run the cutlery, glasses, plates, etc. through the dishwasher prior to leaving the cabin at the end of the rental period.

• Otherwise you may decide for yourselves if you want to do the dishes manually or use the dishwasher during your stay.

• Remember to open the water supply to the dishwasher by turning the nob on the side of the faucet.

Refrigerator

• The refrigerator is empty when you arrive, and is to be left empty when you leave. Please don't leave food behind. Clean the refrigerator inside if necessary. Don’t turn the refrigerator off.

Basic stuff you'll find in the kitchen

• Cooking oil, salt, pepper and sugar.

Equipment

• Water boiler and a French press.

• Coffee maker (filter).

• Breakfast and dinner plates, cups, glasses and cutlery for five persons.

• Frying pan and pots.

• Induction cooking top.

• Oven (rooms a 30 cm diameter pizza)

• Various knives.

• Cheese slicer.

• Rasp.

• Water mug.

• Simple mixer with bowl.

• Paper towels.

• Small garbage bags.

Wifi

Board games

• You’ll find board games in the cabin that you can use. Please put everything back after use.

Heating/Cooling

There is floor heating in the living area, and a wall mounted panel oven. This is controlled by the panel above, please select the wanted temperature (in degrees Celsius) by pressing the corresponding button.

If you need extra heating, use the oil filled radiator. This radiator is not to be used when you are not present in the cabin.

There is a heated shoe drying rack in the entrance area. It is connected via a timer switch. Each click on the timer extends the connection time with 60 minutes.

If it gets hot, there are two fans for you to use to cool down. There is no AC. Please ensure that the door and the windows are closed and locked whenever you leave the cabin.

Cleaning

Unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon, you clean the cabin before departure.

Cleaning equipment is to be found in the closet in the hallway, and under the sink (bathroom/kitchen).

Floors

• Please vacuum the floors. If needed (ex. in the entrance area) you may also use a mop (wet or dry).

Kitchen

• Please tidy up, and put everything back into the cupboards/drawers.

• Please run cutlery, glasses, plates and other compatible kitchenware throug the dishwasher, due to hygienic resasons.

Bathroom

• The floor may be vacuumed and/or mopped.

• There is a bathroom spray detergent that can be used to clean the shower, sink and the toilet.

  • You may use a micro fibre cloth on the sink/shower.

  • Clean the toilet with a one-time-use thin cloth.

Bedroom/loft

• Vacuum the floors.

• Used bed linen and sheets can be left in a pile just inside of the entrance door in the hallway.

• Please hang used towels on the drying rack on the inside of the bathroom door.

Covid 19

• We will disinfect all contact points in between rentals.

Garbage

The garbage should be sorted and brought to the recycling point down the road.

Checklist upon departure

• Clean the cabin.

• Put the used bed linen and towels in a pile inside of the entrance door. If the towels are wet/damp, please hang them in the bathroom.

• Leave the bedroom door and bathroom door ajar/partly open.

• Ensure that all windows are closed, and that the vents in the bedroom and on the loft are left partly open.

• Ensure that the oil oven is turned off.

• The thermostat wall panel should be set at 20 degrees C.

• Please give us a notice if there is a shortage of something (toilet paper, kitchen paper, soaps, etc.)

• Turn off all the lights, except the outside light (switch by the main door).

• Don’t turn off the refrigerator.

• Ensure that the entrance door is properly locked before leaving. The lock may make a sound without actually locking the door. If applicable: Leave the key in the key box and scramble the code.

• Bring the garbage to the renovation point.
